Christmas Tags

Hello there crafty friends! Today I’m sharing another project made with a previous tonic craft kit. These are quick and simple to make.

These were created using the mistletoe edge die. They were simply cut from craft perfect fern green and tonic festive lights opera red. There are two plain curved edge dies in the kit too which I used to cut the top layer (one in green, one in white). The patterned paper on the right tag is from trimcraft winter wishes.

These tags can stay simple or you can add as much as you like.

I’ll be attempting a gatefold card using this die, so look out for that post on my blog. Let me know what you think below!

Until the next time!

Winter wishes card

Today I’m sharing a card made with tonic craft kit 11. (These are not the contents of the kit, only the stamps are) I love these kits, each one contains a variety of products including dies and stamps. It’s great for trying out products you’ve not used before and finding new techniques.

I used the wavy edge die and Winter wishes stamp from the tonic craft kit. I stamped the winter wishes in memento teal zeal ink on to a piece of craft perfect, traced over with a Stix2 glue pen and then glittered over the top.

I used teal craft perfect card and cosmic shimmer texture paste through a stencil for the stars and cut a wavy edge with the die from the tonic craft kit! I then blended Memento teal zeal and nautical blue ink to give more focus on to the stars.

After gluing them together and placing on a top folding card base, I then coloured clear gems with shades of blue sharpies. Much easier to get colours you like this way!

I’m very pleased the way this card turned out!

Imagine the possibilities ATC

Today I felt like just playing with the supplies I have. I’ve loved making ATC’s recently. They are small and easy to fill!

I used memento ink, cosmic shimmer texture paste, cosmic shimmer white embossing powder and sweet Dixie rose gold embossing powder on top of the texture paste stars! Unfortunately, I’m not sure of the company who made the stamps as they were gifted secondhand.

Here is the final result:

The Journey Begins…

Thanks for joining me! I’ll be sharing the cards I make for fun, crafts I find along the way and sharing products I enjoy using. I’m not sponsored or affilated with any of the companies whose products I use. Just a general crafter who loves to make things . I’m hoping you’ll enjoy my makes as much as I enjoy making them!
